Our Katahdin ewes are the foundation of our commercial meat lamb operation.  They are full-blood Katahdins from quality registered seed stock. We cross these ewes with our registered Dorper ram to produce a taller, longer, larger lamb with exceptional quality meat characteristics.

We grow our commercial meat lambs to approximately 6-7 months old which makes for an approximately 90-100 lb animal that allows for larger cuts of meat as opposed to the younger 50-60 lb animals which are generally accepted as the world standard.

We offer high quality Dorper/Katahdin cross ewes and rams for purchase when available. They possess outstanding genetics; therefore, our lambs make exceptional breeding stock for your operation.

GENERAL

Katahdins exhibit a natural tolerance of climatic extremes and are capable of high performance in areas that vary in geography, temperature and humidity as well as feed and forage systems.  They usually have a docile and quiet disposition.  They are "easy keepers".
